There is something wrong with your hormones if you can’t enjoy SOME action films just a little bit. It’s all about the adrenaline rush! You’ve never felt amped up while watching an action film? Just because you have no emotions doesn’t mean you have to **** on everybody else who does.

People like to escape their everyday life. That is why people watch those films. Those are my favorite types of films…along with Horror.

Watching a bunch of women sitting around complaining about their lives, seeing ANOTHER sick person come to terms with dying, seeing another historic Romance…..that is boring to me. They all have the exact same characters, the same endings and are meant for women who have no life of their own.

I go to films to have fun and enjoy myself……if I want to get all weepy over something, I’ll look at real life instead of someone’s idealized version of it.

Quite frankly you have some serious “superiority complex” problems. Get over your self.

most of us go to the movies the be entertained. and most people are stimulated by sight and sound… that is why we choose to see those kinds of films. and we might feel that we think so much about the things that go on in our daily lives that we just dont want to have to think so much about the movies that we are watching.
hollywood recognizes that and gives the GENERAL public what it wants…
unfortunately for you, you are not considered part of general public.

I guess some watch it just to spend time with the friends that do like it. I don’t care for it, and I too find it boring but the kids like it. So what the heck, why not?.

Action/Adventure movies are mostly liked by everyone – not sure why you seem to particularly **** them. I **** only the stereotypes – completely meaningless and plotless movies. I love the movies which have a decent plot, though it is an action movie.

And not everyone watch movies just because of commercials.
