Apparently the musical is LOOSELY based on the book. The book is far more…dark.

No, I believe that their isn’t. Although I warn you, it’s very long!

They are the same book–one just has pictures from the musical.

Just as a warning…if you’re a fan of the musical, it is definitely very different from the book. I’m an avid reader, but didn’t like the book much and loved the musical.

The musical tie in book basically is the book with pictures from the musical. The actual book itself is IN the musical version. It may have a description and further comment about the musical. More for your money.

The musical and the book are so completely different. So if you liked the musical be prepared to be like *** when you read the book.

In my opinion, the musical is better.

i really have no idea. i began reading the book before i saw the show and only got about 50 pages into it. i may try to go back, but as far as the difference between them, i really dont think there is one. i just know that the book and musical are like, really different.

sorry i can’t help much.
