Most theatres will have the standard adult price and a cheaper price for senior citizens or children. The owner of the business can decide who gets what kind of discount. Perhaps rather than giving a discount to persons under age 18, he decided to give a discount to students (which would include college age). Why not ask next time you are in? You might be paying more than you have to if you say you are an adult.
