Not sure of your first question.. but yes did see the movie and simply LOVED it… will buy the DVD when it comes out end of this month!
I thought I read somewhere that most of the child actors returned to their homes in India, back to the actual slums. One father even cuffed a boy actor for not speaking to a journalist.
Just keep plugging his name into the Internet. Try some Bollywood sites or forums.
I enjoyed the movie, but thought it deviated a bit from the main plot.
All the younger kids in the movies weren’t actors they were actual slum kids. Apparently after the Oscars they were sent back to India to not too good conditions. Its quite sad- read this link
