How violent is the film Slumdog Millionaire?
Kradley аѕkеԁ:

well, its not that bad. if you can’t stand violence, i suggest to not see it because it can become pretty sad and “violent” at times. its worth it in the end, i liked the movie alot.
There’s only 1 torture scene (lasts about 1 minute).
There is 1 major riot scene (pretty graphic, but not Dawn of the Dead graphic).
There are a few shooting, beating, violent scenes, but they are pretty integral to the plot. I don’t consider them gratuitous.
The movie is 2 hours long. The violence adds up to about 10-15 minutes. If you can handle cringing for that (in short bursts), it is definitely worth seeing.
It is awful. Do not be fooled. This is a gratuitously violent movie. A young boy is blinded just so he is “worth” more a a singer. The “star” is tortured and electrocuted while being interrogated. This is a violent and BORING movie. Arrogant too.
my 6 year old brother saw it…you should be fine
